A holiday called "Children are our future" was held

A holiday celebration called "Children are our future" was held under the organization of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs on June 1, 2023.

Children of martyrs and veterans from different regions of the republic, residents of orphanages, representatives of national minorities, as well as children with limited health opportunities, temporarily living in shelters, including children representing 12 districts of Baku and Agali village of Zangila, including the members of the Child Ambassadors Council working under the Committee, a total of 400 children participated at the celebration dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev.  

Entertainment by animators was organized, master classes in various fields in 6 corners called "I want to be a leader", "Parents and us", "STEAM laboratory", "Chess hour", "Art studio" and "Eco space", interactive games and training were held during the holiday.

Mrs. Bahar Muradova, the chairperson of the State Committee  greeted the children and guests and noted that the great works done for the protection of the rights of the Azerbaijani people, ensuring their safe life, and the development of the Azerbaijani state as a whole are connected with the name of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. The Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, is also the author of a policy that ensures the development of the Azerbaijani people at the level of modern standards.

Noting that 20 families moved to Lachin a few days ago, B. Muradova said that after this migration, the children will return to their restored homes and try to continue the traditions of their ancestors and be useful for Azerbaijan by laying the foundation of a new development - modern Lachin.Mrs. Bahar Muradova emphasized that the state has created all the opportunities for the education of children as healthy, worthy and useful personalities, and expressed her belief that our children will become well-known and capable personalities who will take Azerbaijan forward.At the end of her speech, the Chairperson of the Committee wished for the restoration of peace in the lives of the children of the world, especially those who have been exposed to wars, hunger, and violence, and for them to live in a prosperous, happy and prosperous society.Mr.Musa Guliyev, a member of parliament greeted the guests and congratulated the children on the occasion of the holiday. He noted that thanks to our soldiers who were born in our independent and developing country and grew up in the spirit of patriotism, our lands were freed from occupation. Talking about the measures implemented in the direction of the development of Karabakh, the deputy expressed his belief that today's children will continue this work successfully.

Mrs.Hijran Huseynova,  the Chairperson of the Family, Women and Children Affairs Committee of the Milli Majlis, shared her joy for participating in the holiday event together with the children.

Later, a video about the activities of the corners was shown and the children voiced their opinions about the exercises. Members Child Ambassadors Council shared information about the Assembly's activities.

After that, Gulnar Gasimova, the winner of the "Parents and Us" - "Idea leading to Victory" project, and Gulchin Jafarova, the finalist of the FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange) program made a speech.

Within the framework of the event, a campaign bus project called "My rights" was launched in order to effectively organize the leisure time of children living in the regions, as well as to carry out mobile education. In the presentation of the committee employee, a promotional video about the project was watched and detailed information was given to the participants.

The celebration continued with a festive atmosphere and different musical numbers were presented.
