Speaking at the event, the Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Mrs.Bahar Muradova congratulated the women and wished them success in their future activities.

Talking about the history of this day, which is celebrated worldwide, the Chairperson added that today the issue of determining women's rights, protecting them, and achieving gender equality is on the agenda of the whole world.

Muradova said that the memory of the great leader Haydar Aliyev, as a genius who stood at the foundation of the development of independent Azerbaijan, is always remembered with respect in the face of the sacrifice he made on the way to the establishment of our independent state.
