February 2 - on the occasion of Youth Day, a meeting with female students was held within the framework of the "Support the Education of Young Girls" project jointly implemented by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the Education Development Fund.

Representatives of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Education, the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions, the Public Council under the Ministry of Science and Education, and female students with high academic performance involved in the scholarship program within the project took part in the meeting.

Elnur Nasibov, Chairman of the Board of Education Development Fund, who gave an opening speech at the event, welcomed the guests and congratulated the young girls on the occasion of Youth Day. During his speech, E. Nasibov said that supporting educated and capable young people is one of the priority directions for the Fund and emphasized the importance of cooperation with partner institutions in this matter.

Speaking at the event, Sadagat Kahramanova, the Deputy Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, informed that the project was formed within the framework of the events on the "100th anniversary of Girls' School opened by Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev" and aims to continue its tradition.

 The event continued with the speeches of Nijat Mammadli, adviser to the Minister of Science and Education, Mirza Jafarzadeh, deputy chairman of ATIAHI (Azerbaijan Education Workers' Free Trade Union) Republican Committee, Gunel Safarova, chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Science and Education, and Parvana Mammadova and Maleyka Alizade the members.

At the end of the meeting, the female students shared their educational successes, expectations and future plans with the participants of the event, and expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the care provided.
