Protection of human health is always in the spotlight in our country as one of the priority issues. The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, with the support of relevant government agencies and non-governmental organizations, regularly conducts extensive awareness-raising activities to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about the harms of drugs and psychotropic substances.

From this point of view, in a series of events held in Aghdam, Shuvalan, Saatli, Sabirabad, Hajigabul, Gabala, Ismayilli, Goygol, Goranboy, Zardab, Zagatala Child and Family Support Centers, as well as among residents of villages and settlements, representatives of district executive authorities, law enforcement officers, teachers and students of schools, parents, youth and volunteers attended.

During the awareness-raising events, the participants were informed that drug addiction is one of the main problems of the world, and detailed information was provided on the basis of presentations and videos about the damage caused by drugs to people’s health.

It was recommended teenagers and young people spend their leisure time effectively, engaging in sports, art and community service.
