Trainings were held in the regions as part of a 16-days campaign against gender-based violence

Trainings on working with victims of domestic violence were held in Saatli and Ismayilli Child and Family Support Centers  from November 30 to December 2, 2021.

The trainings were held as part of the Twinning project "Strengthening the capacity of government agencies and local guidance mechanisms to ensure the safety and support of victims of domestic violence in Azerbaijan" held with partnership of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and with the financial support of the European Union.

The trainings, conducted by Lithuanian experts Audra Mikalauskaite and Daine Urbanaite, covered the application of international standards in the provision of services in the field of domestic violence, inter-agency cooperation and coordination of activities in resolving domestic violence, as well as the development of individual action plans.

Employees of Saatli, Sabirabad, Ismayilli Child and Family Support Centers (social workers, psychologists), members of monitoring groups on gender violence and violence against children under local executive authorities and gender commissions established in municipalities participated in the trainings.
