Today's guest of the project "Let's get to know our families" of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs is the Almammedovs family, founded in 1963 in Lachin region.

Bakhsheyish and Manya Almammedov, who have 8 children, 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, have been able to set an example for the younger generation in maintaining our family values by maintaining mutual love and respect for 58 years.

The family, which was expelled from their homeland as a result of the Armenian aggression, was able to withstand every torment thanks to their endless faith and patience, despite the difficulties they faced. They talk about the years they lived together:

"We were expelled from our lands as a result of Armenian atrocities. We came from Lachin region and settled in Sheki region. We have a loving family. We live by our hard work. Our state appreciates our work. He was awarded medals. We have three daughters and five sons. We have brought them up and tried to make them worthy of the nation and the state. Thankfully, they too have a happy family. We have sixteen grandchildren. One of our grandchildren recently gave birth to a child. What greater happiness could there be? The greatest wealth is the family."
