The final event of the first week of the summer school "I want to be a leader!" organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs was held on September 3, 2021.

Before the event, Mrs. Bahar Muradova, Chair of the State Committee had a sincere conversation with the children, learned their impressions about the summer school, listened to their suggestions and opinions.

Congratulating the children who successfully completed the summer school, Mrs. Bahar Muradova noted that today Azerbaijan is going through very important times: "You are very happy to witness such important events. You have the opportunity to tell future generations what you see as a witness to all these processes, our great victory, unforgettable moments. "

Noting the importance of the summer school project for children in terms of ensuring children's participation, Mrs.Muradova expressed confidence that the project will contribute to the implementation of state children's policy, including the effective organization of children's leisure time and the formation of leadership qualities. She noted that the children gained new knowledge, met new people and had a great time, adding that the summer school will be remembered as an interesting and unforgettable page in their lives.

Then Ms. Gulay Aliyeva made a presentation on behalf of the participants on the results of the summer school. Detailed information was provided on the trainings and meetings held with the participation of specialists from government agencies, non-governmental organizations, as well as experts specializing in the protection of children's rights.

After the presentation, the participants thanked the State Committee, which organized the project, as well as trainers and specialists, and the government officials who met with them for sharing their experiences and learning new knowledge.

During the event, Aykhan Alizadeh surprised everyone with his extraordinary talent by creating an image of the great leader Heydar Aliyev from Rubik's cubes.

In the end, Mrs. Bahar Muradova presented certificates to the participants, as well as awarded the winners with diplomas and prizes of the week-long intellectual game “What? Where? When?".

It should be noted that the purpose of the summer school, which will continue next week with the second group, is to develop knowledge and skills in the formation of leadership qualities in children, as well as prepare them for participation in the V Republican Forum of Azerbaijani Children.
