UN General Assembly declared April 2  as a day of  World Autism Awareness  on December 18, 2007.

The purpose of celebrating this day is to raise awareness about autism among the population and help improve the quality of life of  those with autism.

Paragraphs 3,1,7 of the “Regulations on the Criteria for Determining Disability and Health Disabilities” approved by the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 413 of December 30, 2015,  give  the definition of disability of children with autism syndrome.

The Child and Family Support Centers under the State Committee have been providing various types of therapy and developmental services to children suffering from autism spectrum disorders since 2008.

Also, with the participation of parents of children suffering from these problems, who benefit from the services of the centers, the Centers regularly carry out educational activities and trainings, organize round tables. Currently, 157 children with autism spectrum disorders benefit from the services of the Child and Family Support Centers.
