A meeting on "The role of women in political dialogue" was held

An event on "The role of women in political dialogue" was organized by the Presidential Administration's Department for Relations with Political Parties and Legislative Power and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs on March 6.

31 political parties (New Azerbaijan Party, Civil Solidarity Party, United Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, Democratic Reforms Party, Motherland Party, National Front Party, Azerbaijan Umid Party, Classical Popular Front Party, AK Party, Alliance for Azerbaijan Party, Citizen and Development Party, Unity Party, Azerbaijan National Independence Party, Azerbaijan Social Welfare Party, Future Azerbaijan Party, Azerbaijan Democratic Party, Azerbaijan Liberal Democratic Party, Modern Musavat Party, National Revival Movement Party, Azerbaijan Communist Party, Aydinlar Party, Independent People's Party, more than 50 women representing the Solidarity Party, New Time Party, Justice Party, Unity Party, Azerbaijan Evolution Party, Azerbaijan Republican Party, Republican People's Party, Musavat Party, Azerbaijan People's Party) took part.

Of President Ilham Aliyev, Adalat Valiyev, Head of the Department for Relations with Political Parties and Legislative Power, congratulated the women on March 8 - International Women's Day and expressed hope that the country's leadership would play a more active role in promoting political dialogue.

 

In the context of the role of women in the development of the state, as well as public opinion, the head of the department noted that the First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva is one of the most influential women in the modern world. He noted that she revived the women's movement and opened a new, modern stage in this direction. It was noted that in the context of Azerbaijan's international initiatives and achievements, global projects of humanitarian nature, as well as multiculturalism, intercultural dialogue, tolerance and other integrative content implemented under the leadership and direct participation of Mehriban Aliyeva were welcomed by the world community.

Then, the administration official informed about the systemic reforms implemented in the country on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the work done to promote an environment of political dialogue. He noted the irreplaceable role of women in maintaining healthy and reliable relations between the parties involved in the political process, and the importance of a more active position of civil society institutions.

In conclusion, the administration official expressed confidence that women who have taken an active part in the socio-political life of the country will continue to use their knowledge and skills in the development of the state and the protection of the atmosphere of solidarity in society.
