The next event of a large-scaled awareness raising project ”Say NO to early marriages for the healthy lifestyle” carries out bu the State Committee fot Family, Women and Children Affairs for the purpose of  promotion  a healthy lifestyle, and informing public about consequences of early marriages and marriages between blood relatives was held in cooperation with Sumgayit executive power on July  13, 2016 at 11:00. in the Museum of History of Sumgayit. 

The event was opened by the deputy head of the executive power of Sumgayit Lala Khajiyeva. L. Khajiyeva welcomed the participants of the event, gave information about the work done in Sumgayit ,focused on  prevention early marriages and underlined the importance of carrying out such  events .

Then the floor was given to Aynur Sofiyeva, deputy chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs. A. Sofiyeva informed the participants  about the systematic and purposefull   measures taken in by the  state in this field  and highlighted the importance of preserving our national and family values.

A.Sofiyeva spoke about the  family policy as one of the priority direction of the state policy, focused on improving social state  and increasing of social status of Azerabijan families.

Besides  A.Sofiyeva draw attention of participants to negative consequences of the influence of the process of globalization on Azerbaijan families.

Then the short film under the title “Life stairs”, screened on the initiative of the Committee, was shown to participants.

Afterwards the head  adviser of the Department on Family Problems of t6he Committee R. Makhmudov made a presentation “Say No to early marriages”

Then the floor was given to the head of Sumgayit city Department on Health A. Tagiyev, the chief assistant of Sumgayit city Prosecutor E.Salayev, the inspector of Public Safety Office of Sumgayit city Police A.Eyvazov, the head of  Sumgayit city Education Department R. Tagiyeva, the representative of Sumgayit city Department of the State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations U. Mammedov, the chairperson on NGO  Z.Mustafayeva .

At the end of the event was held the discussion on the topic. The representatives of youth of  Sumgayit city  participated in the discussion very active .

In the event the published material on different topics prepared by the Commiittee was presented to participants.
