The State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs took Rahman Jafarov's family under its social control

The appeal about the difficulties in family in mass media of Rahman Jafarov, an IDP from Aghdam region, who lives in the "Youth Campus" built for IDPs in Binagadi district of Baku was immediately taken under the control  by the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs.

The State Committee contacted with the family through phone on August 10, 2020 for more information. Then the family was visited by the representative of the State Committee in order to meet their basic needs, in accordance with the rules of the quarantine regime and appropriate financial assistance was provided to the family.

Representative of the State Committee made the second call to the head of the family for the further assessment of the situation in the family on August 11, 2020.

According to the information given by Rahman Jafarov whole family was infected coronavirus, some of them are being treated in hospitals, and he has not been working due to quarantine and his financial situation is deteriorating.

It should be noted that, social projects implemented to support vulnerable families during the pandemic cover a total of 5 million people in accordance with the order of President Ilham Aliyev.

The State Committee continues to work involving non-governmental organizations and volunteer families to support vulnerable families.

Shuvalan Child and Family Support Center acting under the Committee provided further assistance to the family again, and the State Committee will monitor the measures taken by the relevant agencies to normalize the situation in Rahman Jafarov's family.
