A world full of love, solidarity and peace - it is possible!
Children are the most fragile and sensitive beings in humanity.
They are tomorrow's hope.
They have the right to be born, live safely, grow up in a healthy family and social environment.
The UN General Assembly has been celebrating the 1st June - International Day for Protection of Children for 70 years to draw the attention of states and societies to these rights.
Every year these rights are heard from the highest tribune, various events and interesting activities are held for children.
But can all children of the world look to the future with the same dreams? Can every little inhabitant of the planet sleep in warm bed with the impression of a the beautiful day spent with his family?
Is a dream of every child just a toy today?
We keep silent because it is impossible to answer to each of these questions.

But as we have been speaking about the rights of children for 70 years, still  a thousand children wake up under the sound of mines and guns,  they are  living in unfortunate situation ,being homeless, half-starved  and bombarded in their houses or in the streets, carrying guns instead of toys.  Syria, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan ...These countries are becoming a territory where the concept of justice takes another meaning.

Unfortunately, as a result of Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan, some children in Azerbaijan also faced such threats, they have been expelled from their homes and their rights to live in their native land have been violated.
During the Karabakh war, 175 children were tragically killed, hundreds of children were injured, 66 were missing and 29 were taken hostage. During the ceasefire period, 34 children were victims of Armenian terror, 14 of them were killed and 20 wounded. A total of about 350,000 children have been affected during the unjust war. Although the protection of human and children's rights is the supreme goal of the world, Armenia continues to pursue policies that are contrary to peace and human values.

As members of the Azerbaijani Child Ambassadors Council, we address to the government officials and international organizations! Do not establish diplomatic relations with countries that violate children's rights, commit acts of violence, aggression and genocide, do not sign bilateral and multilateral agreements, do not sit at the same table with heads of states with aggressive policy!
We, children of Azerbaijan, appeal to our peers all over the world! Let us together contribute to the establishment of world peace with our knowledge and potential! Let development and humanistic ideas be our goal!

At the end, as the youth of Azerbaijan we appeal to all People! This world is home for all of us, and every inhabitant has the right to live in peace and harmony.
Let us unite for peace full of solidarity and love!

Congratulations on International Children's Day!
