The Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs congratulated children on the International Children's Protection Day.

On the occasion of June 1 - International Children's Protection Day, an online video conference was held with participation of Chairperson ofthe State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs  Mrs. BaharMuradova and members of the "Azerbaijan Child Ambassadors Council".


The "Azerbaijan Child Ambassadors Council" was established to develop children's ability to express themselves, increase their social activity and improve leadership skills. The Council carries an important mission in terms of raising the issues to relevant bodies and taking action to address cases of child rights violations.


At the beginning of the conference, Mrs. Bahar Muradova congratulated children who were elected to the "Child Ambassadors Council" and wished them success in fulfilling their duties. She also congratulated all children and wished every child peace and a happy future. Speaking about the state child policy, the Chairperson noted that there is a united and strong legislative base for protection of children's rights in our country she also emphasized that one of the priorities of the state policy is focusing on care and support of children, protection their health, ensuring them with quality education and becoming them as worthy citizens.The conference participants thanked the head of the state for attention and care, saying that the state policy aimed to comprehensive development has created wide opportunities for children. They expressed the dignity of being elected as members of "Child Ambassadors Council" and shared the pleasure of being children's voice.


During the conference, the participants touched upon such topics as modern technologies and innovations in education, delivering the realities of Karabakh to the world, development of children's cultural and aesthetic tastes, parental responsibility, child psychology during the COVID-19 pandemic, Internet safety as well as organization of leisure time for children with disabilities.


In conclusion, Mrs. Bahar Muradova advised to members of the "Child Ambassadors Council" to be responsible in their work and develop their potential.She encouraged children to support each other and show unity.In turn, the children expressed confidence that they would work hard to fulfill their responsibilities.
